God of War
God of War is an action-adventure game following Kratos, a Spartan warrior who swore his allegiance to the god of war Ares after being saved from defeat in battle. But when Ares turns against him and slaughters his own family, Kratos seeks vengeance against the god who betrayed him. Players control Kratos through brutal combat against creatures of Greek mythology, wielding the iconic Blades of Chaos — twin chained blades that have become the signature weapon of the series. Featuring a fluid combo system, powerful magic abilities, and cinematic Quick Time Events, God of War delivers an intense action experience alongside a dark story of revenge and redemption. The game stands as one of the greatest titles on the PlayStation 2 and laid the foundation for one of Sony's most iconic franchises.
