Ultimate Spider-Man
Ultimate Spider-Man is an action-adventure game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, released in 2005 for PlayStation 2. Based on the Ultimate Marvel comic series, the game lets players control both Spider-Man and his arch-nemesis Venom across an open-world cel-shaded New York City. As Spider-Man, players can swing, crawl, and fight their way through Manhattan and Queens, taking on story missions and side activities. As Venom, players unleash raw destructive power on enemies and the city itself. With its unique comic-book art style, dual protagonist gameplay, and faithful adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis's storyline, Ultimate Spider-Man became one of the most beloved superhero games on the PlayStation 2. The game puts players in the role of an up-and-coming street racer tearing through the open-world cities of San Diego, Atlanta, Detroit, and Tokyo. DUB Edition Remix adds Tokyo and additional cars, customization options, and over 124 licensed music tracks compared to the original. Players can fully customize their vehicles with rims, body kits, paint, and performance upgrades while competing against rival racers to unlock new cars and cities. With its massive car roster, deep customization, and free-roaming city racing, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix remains one of the best racing games on the PlayStation 2. The game follows Leon S. Kennedy, a U.S. government agent sent to rural Spain to rescue the President's daughter from a mysterious cult known as Los Illuminados. Resident Evil 4 revolutionized the series with its over-the-shoulder camera, intense third-person combat, and dramatic set pieces. Players must manage resources, upgrade weapons, and face terrifying enemies including the iconic Ganados and its monstrous variants. With its gripping story, polished gameplay, and replayability, Resident Evil 4 became one of the most critically acclaimed games on the PlayStation 2.
